Kurzfassung:

Motivation

Signal alignment is required to generalize the IB decoder implementation and design for e.g. higher-order modulation schemes and irregular code structures. The signal alignment approach has a direct impact on the BER/FER performance and complexity of the implementation.

Objective

The aim of this work is to investigate different approaches for signal alignment and its performance, complexity and ability to generalize.

Requirements

Channel coding, good knowledge in stochastics, programming skills
