Abstract:

Motivation:

The 5th Generation (5G) New Radio (NR) is designed by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) to support a wide range of services, requirements, and use cases with great flexibility, scalability and efficiency.

The Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) in NR carries Downlink Control Information (DCI) that is vital to perform a number of significant functions such as downlink/uplink scheduling, power control, slot format indication and preemption indication.

Objective:

Analysis on the structure of PDCCH and performance evaluation.

Requirements:

Wireless Communication and Python Programming skills.
