| Abstract: | This master thesis deals with channel estimation algorithms for the UMTS common pilot channel, especially with some proposed MIMO concepts and its different receiver structures in HSDPA. This algorithms will be investigated and compared during this thesis. This thesis starts with a literature research. Based on the existing UMTS implementation the student has to implement different channel estimation algorithms in a MATLAB environment. Furthermore the different MIMO and receiver concepts must be considered. Subsequently this algorithms have to be evaluated for specified values concerning the HSDPA standard. |
