Abstract:

Motivation:

If several QAM constellation diagrams are superimposed, a so-called H-QAM system is formed. The bit error rate of a single bit layer depends, among other things, on their Euclidean distances. These distances can then be used to determine the exact bit error rate of the bit layer.

Goal:

The goal is to transfer the theoretical considerations into an applicable algorithm, to perform calculations with it, and later to evaluate them by measurements in GNURadio (SDR).
