Abstract:

This paper presents a novel approach, Service-Based non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) with unequal error protection (UEP), designed to optimize resource allocation and error correction performance in high-density wireless communication scenarios. The proposed scheme utilizes superposition coding within a NOMA structure to enable simultaneous transmission of multiple services over a shared resource block. By incorporating UEP, the system ensures that each service receives the appropriate level of error correction tailored to its reliability requirements. Through spectral efficiency calculations and block error rate analysis, the effectiveness of the service-based NOMA scheme is demonstrated, highlighting its ability to manage diverse services with varying reliability needs efficiently. This research contributes to the advancement of wireless communication systems, offering a promising solution for enhancing multi-service transmission in challenging environments.
