Mohamed Rihan

(Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in electronics and communication engineering from Menoufia University, Al-Menoufia, Egypt, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electronics and communication engineering from Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, New Borg El Arab, Egypt, in 2012 and 2015, respectively. From 2014 to 2015, he was a researcher with the Department of Advanced Information Technology, Graduate School of ISEE, Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan. From 2016 to 2017, he was an Adjunct Professor with the Center of Photonics and Smart Materials, Zewail City of Science and Technology, Giza, Egypt. From 2017 to 2021, he was a Research Associate Professor with the College of Information Engineering, Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, China. From 2021 to 2023, he was a Marie Curie Research Fellow with the Electronics and Information Engineering Department, University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, in Cassino, Italy. He is currently the ISAC research group leader of the Department of Communication Engineering, University of Bremen, Bremen, Germany. His research interests include a broad spectrum of topics within the field of wireless communications, non-terrestrial networks, integrated sensing and communications, massive MIMO and mmWave communications, interference management, resource allocation, cognitive heterogeneous networks, and signal processing and artificial intelligence applications in wireless communications.
