Abstract:

5G New Radio (NR) is a new and upcoming wireless communication standard for a wide variety of use cases, e.g. emBB, mMTC and URLLC.

The goal of this thesis is to implement a simulation framework in Python, specifically for URLLC setups. This includes the simulation of small data packets for a highly reliable and low latency communication. The basic PHY-Layer description is based on 3GPP NR.

This simulation framework shall be used to verify suitable algorithms for URLLC use cases.
