Abstract: | From the lecture Channel Coding II the basics about Hybrid-ARQ schemes are known, where a combination of error detecting and error correcting codes are used to increase the reliabiltiy and the throughput of a communication link. Currently, different implementations of Hybrid-ARQ are under investigation for multiple antenna systems. Depending on the used MIMO scheme, the implementation of the codes and the used receiver structure differen Hybrid-ARQ implementations have to be investigated. Within this project a detailed literature analysis of different implementations has to be carried out. These schemes have to be implemented and analyzed. Therefore a fundamental knowledge in Digital Communication, Channel Coding, Advanced Topic of Digital Communication as well as programming skills in Matlab and/or C are necessary. |
