Abstract:

A system model for acoustic echo compensation should be transformed from MATLAB to a real-time environment using Microsoft Visual C++. Simultaneous WAVE-file playback and recording has to be implemented.

A conventional acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) filter (designed with the normalized least mean squares (NLMS) algorithm) should be combined with a Wiener-Post-Filter.
