Abstract:

Differential Modulation schemes are commonly used for non-coherent reception. Differential Modulation has severe problems, when it comes to frequency selective fading at the transmission. 

The goal of this thesis is to investigate the performance of Sphere Decoding for estimating differential modulation, especially, in fading scenarios. 

Furthermore, this thesis adresses the problem of Multi-User differential modulation.

Prerequisites: Advanced Topics of Digital Communication, Good knowledge of linear Algebra
