Edgar Beck received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Bremen, Germany, in 2017 and 2026, respectively, where he is currently senior researcher at the Department of Communications Engineering (ANT) leading the research group on semantic communication. His research interests include cognitive radio, compressive sensing, massive MIMO systems, semantic communication, goal-oriented communication, and machine learning for wireless communications.
Edgar Beck was a recipient of the OHB Award for the best M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Bremen in 2017.
