Within the scope of this ESA study, a system simulator testbed which is capable of modelling and assessing the performance of communication satellite constellations operating in VLEO will be developed. The developed simulator will be fully compliant with all relevant specifications for NTN included in 3GPP Release 17 and 18. The activity will exhibit two 5G NTN VLEO applications.
